The Jubilee Professors are appointed by the President, based on nominations from the departments. Gaute Hagen is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Professor in Physics at the University of Tennessee. He is invited as a Visiting Professor to the Department of Physics for six months in 2026.
